About the Murrumbateman community
Murrumbateman is made up of a diverse and active community, with many local groups and events. This part of the Murrumbateman website contains contact information for local groups and information for residents about what is happening in our local area.
The Murrumbateman Progress Association
The Murrumbateman Progress Association is an initiative of the Murrumbateman Agricultural Bureau and Progress Association (MABPA) and was formed in early 2006 and received its charter in February 2007. The MPA comprises representatives from several existing community groups and would welcome any new members from the Murrumbateman region, either as individuals or representing a community group. We have a list of groups and contact details in our online fourm and a list of local projects in the Yass Valley Council Management Plan.
