2011 Murrumbateman Field Days
The Murrumbateman Field Days is an annual event dedicated to small area farming, with over 400 exhibitors displaying a wide range of machinery, equipment and services. There are lifestyle marquees and the “Spotlight on the Region” marquees that displays the wonderful variety of local produce and services such as olives, honey, wine, chocolates, coffee, meats, real estate, accommodation and much more.
Highlights of the weekend include:
Antique machinery display, tractor pull, chainsaw art, reptile information stand and helicopter rides. Demonstrations throughout the weekend of sheep shearing, fencing and various facets of large and small area gardening. Plus, regular cooking demonstrations utilizing local Murrumbateman produce.
A variety of entertainment and a dedicated children's program
including a discovery trail prize, face painting, jumping castle,
rides, lucky gate prizes and live fun entertainment throughout the day.
It is a great 'country' day out for the whole family.

Now in its 33rd year, the 2011 Murrumbateman Field Days is bigger and better than ever. This year the focus is on community and sustainability, with there being lots of new stall holders on board. With many new and interesting attractions, drop by to see a wide range of machinery, equipment and services available to successfully run a small farm.
There is plenty of entertainment for the whole family with a Side Show Alley for the kids, dancing, bush poetry and shearing demonstrations. So bring the whole family for a fun day out!
